Rebecca & Robert, An Audra’s Photography Wedding Profile
The Falls – Robert & Rebecca’s wedding started with the ladies getting ready in the Presidential Suite at The Falls in Chilliwack. Lots of laughs were had between Rebecca and her bridesmaids as they were getting ready for the Big Day.
Minter Gardens Wedding – The ceremony was under the marquis tent at Minter Gardens. It rained a bit that day, but the rain only added to the romance and intimacy that these two share. I love the look on Rebecca and her father’s faces as they start to walk down the aisle.
Quick Break at Minter – We had a quick break between the ceremony and reception so we wandered through the gardens for a bit where Rob & Rebecca had a bit of quiet time to say hello s husband and wife.
Details Perhaps, my favourite part of the wedding were the amazing details they put into the day. From the butterfly release, to absolutely gorgeous floral arrangements and bridal bouquets, to an amazing candy buffet that Rebecca’s Mom put together, to the delicious cake that carried the butterfly theme into the reception.
Wedding Reception – The morning reception was held in the Trillium room at Minter Gardens with speeches, cake cutting and first dances.
Wedding Photos Minter Gardens - After the reception Rebecca & Rob braved the rain for a portrait session with their families and wedding party. We ended with a few portraits of the newlyweds before they zipped off in a limo to attend their evening parties.

Bernice & Jack’s Beautiful Wedding By The Other Angle Photography
Bernice & Jack’s wedding couldn’t have been more beautiful. The weather was perfect with plenty of sunshine and blue skies, and starting the day with Bernice’s wonderful family and friends was really lovely. The atmosphere that morning was full of anticipation and pure joy.
There’s something to be said about door games and proving one’s worthy to their bride’s friends and family: it’s chivalry at its best. Now, if I can say something about Jack it’s this: he’s proud of his love for Bernice and he isn’t afraid to dance in the street, take his chance with getting his legs waxed or drink mystery substances all for love. He didn’t get his legs waxed (his groomsmen took that bullet for him!), but he did exceptionally well with all of the obstacles the bridesmaids put in his way.
A bit of bargaining went on, but they finally allowed him to come in to greet his bride and to share a bit of tea with his new family. After a quick tea ceremony, it was time for Bernice to change into her gown before we went to UBC for some portraits.
Their ceremony and reception was held at the gorgeous Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club. The ceremony started in the late afternoon and the timing was perfect. I loved how Bernice and Jack added a sand-pouring element at the end to symbolize their two lives joining as one.
Bernice & Jack entered their reception with a choreographed first dance! Graceful, loving and very smoooooth. Like I said, Jack is not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve.
After dinner and just before the sunset, we managed to sneak away with them for a few more portraits. Here is our favourite!

Sunny & Swin: September Wedding by Images by Bethany
Sunny and Swin’s September wedding was held at the Diamond Alumni Centre at SFU in Burnaby. It was a beautiful wedding full of personal detail that graffic designer, Swin created. Myself and my assistant started the day at Swin’s family home to capture the girls getting ready while my second photographer was with the guys capturing them getting ready.
Then Sunny and his men made their way over to the waiting ladies and the traditional Chinese wedding games began! This was so much fun to be a part of. The bartering went back and forth and Sunny was made to do some pretty hysterical things before he was permitting into the house to see his bride!
Once inside Sunny and Swin held the Tea Ceremony for their parents and relatives. I adore this tradition and was so honoured to witness and capture it.
Swin then switched out of her traditional red dress and into a beautiful white wedding dress. We headed to SFU for bridal party, couple and family portraits before the ceremony.
The wedding ceremony was a beautiful and emotional event. I loved when Swin was brought to tears by Sunny’s vows and her sisters giggled in the background! Such a great moment.
After the ceremony we had time to capture portraits of Sunny and Swin with each of their guests before heading upstairs for the reception! The reception was full of laughter, games, speeches and toasts! Swin did a great job tying together all the pink and grey detail and the night was a success.
